An adult male cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a motor vehicle in Centretown on Thursday afternoon.
An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson said that the cyclist was listed in serious, but stable condition, and that the injuries were not life-threatening following the collision at the intersection of Gladstone Avenue and O’Connor Street just before 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Because of the collision and the subsequent investigation, traffic was closed off temporarily on O’Connor between Gladstone and Frank Street and on Gladstone between Bank and Metcalfe streets, the Ottawa Police Service posted online.
